Membership Information

Election to the Alberta Law Review is done annually at the beginning of the school year in September. Membership on the editorial board is limited to second and third year law students.

Second year students can pick up applications at the fourth floor reception desk. Students will usually have up to 14 days to complete the applications and the application takes about 12-15 hours.

Successful applicants serve on the editorial board for two years and fulfil their committment by serving on a committee and completing at least one edit per year. Students who have fulfilled these requirements may receive 3 course credits at the end of their two years.

If you have any questions about the ALR, don't hesitate to ask! Our Co-Editors-in-Chief and other current members are available to answer any questions you may have.
